Day 1 - 4

Selous Game Reserve

Day 1: Arrival in Selous

Transfer to Selous: In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Dar Es Salaam Airport for a scheduled flight to Selous Game Reserve.
Arrival: Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to The Selous Safari Camp.
Afternoon Game Drive: After check-in, enjoy an afternoon shared game drive in the reserve, a chance to spot some of the region’s iconic wildlife.
Meals and Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at The Selous Safari Camp (LDBB).

Days 2-4: Exploring Selous

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives: You’ll have full days to explore Selous with shared game drives in both the morning and afternoon. The reserve is known for its rich biodiversity, including large herds of elephants, buffalo, lions, and more.
Relaxation: Between game drives, you can relax at the camp or participate in optional activities like boat safaris or walking tours.
Meals and Accommodation: All meals and overnight stays at The Selous Safari Camp (LDBB).

Day 5: Travel to Zanzibar

Morning Leisure: After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure at your lodge.
Lunch: Lunch will be served at the lodge.
Afternoon Flight to Zanzibar: Transfer to the airstrip for your flight via Dar Es Salaam to Zanzibar Island.
Arrival in Zanzibar: Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel, Matemwe Bungalows.
Meals and Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Matemwe Bungalows (LDBB).

Days 6-11: Leisure in Zanzibar

Free Days: These days are reserved for relaxation and exploring Zanzibar at your own pace. Optional activities include excursions to Stone Town, spice plantations, diving, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the beautiful beaches.
Meals and Accommodation: All meals and overnight stays at Matemwe Bungalows (LDBB).

Day 5 - 11

Departure

Day 12: Departure from Zanzibar

Morning Leisure: After breakfast, enjoy your final moments at leisure, depending on your flight time.
Transfer to Airport: Later in the day, you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Dar Es Salaam. An Adventure Expeditions representative will assist with reconfirming your onward flight and check-in procedures for your homeward journey.
